By accessing and using CapituAI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

CapituAI is a service that:

  • Transcribes YouTube videos using AI
  • Automatically generates chapters with timestamps
  • Allows organizing and managing transcriptions

3. User Account

To use CapituAI, you must:

  • Create an account using Sign in with Google
  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Credit System

CapituAI uses a credit-based system:

  • Each transcription consumes credits based on video duration
  • Chapter generation consumes additional credits
  • Credits are non-refundable
  • Unused credits do not expire

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for illegal activities
  • Attempt to bypass the credit system
  • Reverse engineer the service
  • Overload our servers with excessive requests
  • Transcribe copyrighted content without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

6. User Content

You retain all rights to your transcriptions and generated chapters. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content
  • Use anonymized data to improve the service

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to transcribe the videos you submit to the service.

7. Intellectual Property

CapituAI and all its content (except user content) are the property of Felipe Novaes Rocha and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That transcriptions will be 100% accurate
  • That generated chapters will be perfect

9. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will we be liable for:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Lost profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Use of Google APIs

CapituAI uses YouTube API Services. By using our service, you also agree to:

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the service at any time
  • Change pricing and credit system with 30 days notice
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in Brazilian courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
